The Way We Live: Reflecting Jesus in Community

The gospel is used by the Holy Spirit to form a people who belong to God.  They become a part of the family of God, the body and bride of Christ, and the fellowship and temple of the Holy Spirit.  Those who have turned from sin and put their faith in Christ as Lord and Savior become citizens of God's kingdom.  Their lives are bonded together and they share together deeply and richly in Christ and the riches of His grace.  They are in union with Christ and as a result share in communion with Him and one another.  All of this translates to a real and rich community that Christians share in together.  The church has a gospel culture formed within it where we practice the ways of Christ and His kingdom among one another.  We are to reflect Jesus to one another as well as to the watching and broken world.
