How to Hear from God by Rev. Tim Keller

"...God's Word is His active power and when you hear God speaking to you in His Word...that is His power coming into your life...that is His reality coming into your life..."

Hebrews 4:12 - "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."

How do we hear from God? Keller uses the analogy of a friendship and that in order to have real relationship and communication, we must know that the messages we are receiving are from our friend. Keller says, "In the Bible, God is speaking to you."

How would our lives be different if we REALLY believed that God was speaking to us in His Word? My friends, He is!
